George Harrison was born on February 25, 1943. He had two brothers and a sister. His dad was a bus driver. His mother was a housewife.
George's brother Harry had a portable Record Player. Nobody else could use it. When everybody was gone, Pete, George's other brother, and George would listen to the record player. George was lead to guitar by listening to "Waiting For A Train."
He went to the Liverpool Institute, where a guy named Raymond Hughes had a guitar for sale. George bought the guitar, which was "a real cheapo horrible little guitar," and learned to play.
After the Beatles, George continued to play music but had lung problems from cigarettes, and an earlier stabbing. In 2001 he passed away.
